NAMES ON PHONES

While drawing an image of someone last year, I started to think: She looks really calm. I wonder who she is. Who she really is. I had, also over time been collecting names on people's phones. This was something which at the time did nothing more than amuse me and other people loved sharing them, and little stories about the origins or reasons behind the names. I had John Blockage. Tina Taxidermy, Mick Brick. I now have about 120 names. One of them is Calm Janet. So I decided in the process of drawing her that she would be 'Calm Janet'. Click on the phone to see more.
